City chief pediatrician dies of coronavirus in Lviv

In Lviv, the head pediatrician of the health department of the Lviv City Council, Bohdan Ostalsky, died from the coronavirus. The city council reported that he had been fighting the disease for a long time.

This was reported by the press service of the Lviv City Council.

Ostalsky was 60 years old. For a long time he worked as the chief specialist of the department to coordinate the work of the health institutions of the health department of the Lviv City Council.

“The chief pediatrician of Lviv, Bogdan Ostalsky, is gone for eternity. The doctor we will always remember as a great professional and a good friend to our children. We are very lucky to live and work with you, Bogdan Romanovich. Eternal memory.” wrote the mayor of Lvov Andrey Sadovoy.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine wrote that in early September, the prosecutor for the Khmelnytsky region, Oleg Sinishin, died from the coronavirus.

Recall that during the last day in Ukraine, almost 2.5 thousand new cases of coronavirus were confirmed, another 30 people died. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 154,335 people have fallen ill, 3,178 of them have died.

Before that, more than 3,000 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Ukraine for two days in a row.
