Deputy Attorney General Gunduz Mammadov said that Russia’s annexation of Crimea caused Ukraine about a trillion hryvnias in damage. He said so in an interview with Radio Svoboda, published on September 13.
He also added that as the occupation of the Ukrainian peninsula continues, this amount will increase.
“According to preliminary data from the materials of the criminal proceedings, in Crimea alone the losses reach a trillion hryvnia,” Mamedov said.
