Attorney General Irina Venediktova
When a person wants to remember himself, and there is nothing else to remind him, run and scream about political persecution, believes the Attorney General.
Attorney General Irina Venediktova believes that public relations are beneficial for former President Petro Poroshenko due to the opening of a series of criminal proceedings against him. She said this on Saturday September 12th in an interview with Savik Shuster.
“The last few months, and it seems to me that, as soon as I got to the position of attorney general, cases have been opened against me. Do I run somewhere and yell that this is an influence on the attorney general? And when a person wants to remind herself, and there is nothing else to remind her, she runs and shouts about political persecution, “Venediktova said.
Responding to the question whether Petro Poroshenko, who has served as president for five years, needs a PR, Venediktova said: “I think he needs that PR today.”
Earlier, Attorney General Irina Venediktova recorded a video message explaining the completion of the pre-trial investigations in the cases against the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
