A single voting day is taking place in Russia

In 2020, voting in multi-level elections in the Russian Federation takes place in three days.

Although a single voting day is held in Russia on September 13, early voting is expected on September 11 and 12.

In Russia a single voting day has begun. More than 56,000 polling stations are opening across the country, according to data from the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation. On Saturday, September 12, RIA Novosti reports.

One of the first regions where a single voting day began was the Kamchatka Territory, where a regional governor is elected.

There are reportedly more than 9,000 electoral campaigns at all levels this year in 83 constituent entities of the Russian Federation (except St. Petersburg and Kabardino-Balkaria).

As noted, after the elections, more than 78,000 deputies and elected officials will be replaced.

In addition, 20 Russian regions are holding elections for senior officials.

Let us remind you that the elections in the regions started in Russia on Friday, being held in a new format for the first time. Now you can vote in three days, not just on Sunday.

Earlier, the Central Election Commission of Ukraine approved the amount of the deposit for candidates in local elections scheduled for October 25.
