MP Kravchuk at the TCG said he was too busy to meet with the people’s deputies, who invited him to speak after the scandalous announcement of amnesty for the separatists.

The first deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group to resolve the situation in Donbass, Vitold Fokin, refused to hold a meeting with the parliamentary commission on the organization of state power and local self-government. This was announced on Saturday, September 12, by the popular deputy of the Servant of the People, vice president of the committee, Alexander Kachura, on his Telegram channel.

“Today Vitold Fokin refused to hold a meeting with the committee on the organization of state power and local self-government, which was supposed to take place on September 15. The expressed reason is to be busy and the need to work in a group of trilateral contact, “Kachura wrote.

According to him, “the meeting will not be held in the near future, a specific date has not been specified.”

“I will demand that this meeting be held immediately,” he added.

Earlier, Fokin, in an interview with one of the publications, said that it allows a total amnesty for the separatists in Donbass, as well as a special status for the entire territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. And when his words provoked violent criticism, he said that representatives of the current government criticize him because they have a connection to his “predecessors.”

Later, the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Minsk talks, Leonid Kravchuk, said that Volodymyr Zelensky would decide the future fate of Fokin after his scandalous remarks.

It was also reported that Fokin’s impeachment petition garnered a third of the votes needed in one day.
