The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine has exceeded 150 thousand.
During the last day, 3103 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Ukraine. This is evidenced by data from the National Defense and Security Council.
This is 41 cases less than the record daily increase recorded on September 11.
In the past 24 hours, 72 people have died from the infection (the total number of deaths associated with COVID-19 has reached 3,148). These are the highest daily losses in Ukraine since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic.
A record number of people recovered from COVID-19 per day was also recorded: 1,341 people (in total, 68,346 infected people have recovered since the start of the epidemic).
Most of the new cases of infection were registered in the Kiev (428), Kharkiv (292) and Ternopil (280) regions. Kiev has overtaken the Lviv region in terms of the number of infected and now ranks first in Ukraine.
