Dmitry Kozak, deputy head of the presidential administration of the Russian Federation, said that the Ukrainian side agreed to change the resolution on the July 15 local elections. This decree states that elections in the uncontrolled territories of Donbass will take place only after the transfer of control over the border.
Kozak said this after a meeting of advisers from the four Normandy countries.
“We agreed that in the near future the Verkhovna Rada will correct the resolution that was adopted on July 15,” Kozak said.
It should be noted that the Russian side has repeatedly stated that this resolution in terms of elections in the uncontrolled territories of Donbass contradicts the Minsk agreements.
Previously, “Strana” provided a full transcript of Kozak’s final statement.
We also report that on the eve of the consultants’ consultations, Vladimir Zelensky phoned Angela Merkel.
