– A difficult game against a very organized team that did everything possible not to lose. We dominated the whole game and created quite a few scoring chances. But we lacked freshness to complete our attacks, both in movement and in thought.
Unfortunately, this week we lost Burda and Popov. Also, there was a problem with Tymchik today. And you also have to take into account that just the day before Kendzera and Rodríguez arrived from their national teams. At the same time, many of our players who were called up to the national teams did not participate in the matches, they only practiced. And we train a little. This was evident during today’s game.
But I’m happy with how the team fought for victory, looking for it. A very difficult game awaits us on Tuesday in the Champions League standings. AZ plays more or less the same: aggressively, militantly. Therefore, the most important task now is to restore the computer so that it is fully ready for Tuesday.
I didn’t like the breaks in today’s game. Looks like I’ve been back seven years ago. These pauses stopped us, frustrated our movement. But “Desna” in any case deserved this result. And we must draw conclusions from our mistakes and not repeat them in the future.
– What is Tymchik’s condition?
– These injuries are very serious. After them, the footballer does not quickly return to the field …
– Who will replace him in the next matches?
– We do not have a large selection of actors in defense. But, on the other hand, I am very satisfied with Zabarny’s debut. Despite his youth, he played very well.
Due to the loss of Popov, we had to transfer Mikolenko to the center of defense, he also played well in this position. But at the same time we lost him on the left flank: I am sure that Mikolenko, acting in his usual position, would throw a lot of balls into the rival penalty area.
Of all our wounded, only Mikolenko fully returned. Verbic still needs to get in shape, he hasn’t trained or played for a long time. We expect Shepelev to work in the general group next week.
As for who will play AZ, we still have a few days to think about it.
