The Ukrainian Ministry of Health has updated the list of countries in the “red” and “green” zones regarding the spread of the coronavirus disease COVID-19.

Which countries are in the “red” zone
The list of the “red” zone includes 44 countries, compared to 50 a week ago. After returning from these countries, Ukrainians and foreigners who can enter the country must go to self-isolation for 14 days using the application “Diy vdoma “. Early termination of self-isolation is possible after receiving a negative PCR test.
The “red” list includes Israel, Argentina, Maldives, Peru, Spain, Brazil, the United States, the Republic of Moldova, France, Monaco and dozens of other countries. Also on the list are two countries popular with Ukrainian tourists: Croatia and Montenegro.
Which countries fell into the “green” zone
In total, 156 countries + Ukraine were included in the “green” zone, up from a week ago there were 150. Ukraine is included in the list of countries in the “green zone” with an indicator of active patients with COVID-19 of 88 , 1 people per 100 thousand inhabitants.
Romania, Czech Republic, Malta, Armenia, North Macedonia, Mexico, Austria, Netherlands, Switzerland, Portugal, Belgium, Hungary, Russia, Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Ireland, Denmark, Italy, Greece, Belarus, Sweden, were also in the green Zone”. How countries are divided into “red” and “green” zones:
- Since August 1, Ukraine has changed the focus of the formation of the list of countries in the “red” and “green” zones in terms of the spread of the coronavirus. Now, the European country distribution system is used according to two indicators: the increase in new COVID-19 patients and the total percentage of COVID-19 patients.
- A country belongs to the “red zone” if the growth rate of COVID-19 patients in it in the last 14 days exceeds that of Ukraine and if the percentage of people infected by coronavirus in a particular country in the last 14 days , compared to the previous two weeks, it exceeds 30%.
