The death of the expert on his Facebook page was reported by his teammate Maxim Potashev.

“Today Misha Smirnov, my old friend and the first captain of the television club, is gone,” Potashev wrote, noting that Smirnov was “a very kind and brilliant person.”

According to Potashev, Mikhail Smirnov died as a result of a stroke.

The club’s Instagram page says Smirnov did not lose contact with the television club and shared his experience with the youth.

Who is Mikhail Smirnov?
