The Zaporozhye plant resumes Groupe Renault car production, which was halted a couple of years ago.
The Zaporizhzhya car-building plant resumes Groupe Renault car production two years later, UkrAvto Corporation representative Dmitry Sklyarenko said on Thursday, September 10, Ukrinform writes.
It is noted that prior to the resumption of work, ZAZ carried out a large-scale modernization to fully comply with the international quality standards of Groupe Renault. In 2020, the company introduced the quality standardization system of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance: Alliance Production Way.
“This project means that we and our partners are confident that brands” made in Ukraine “will be at the same level of quality as products from other Groupe Renault plants”, – said the Renault Export Groupe.
Recall that ZAZ stopped the production of passenger cars in 2018.
