Former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Bogdan said that after Volodymyr Zelensky’s victory in the second round of the presidential elections, he felt fear. Such a confession he made in an interview with “GORDON” publication founder Dmitry Gordon, which aired on September 9 on the “Visiting Gordon” YouTube channel.

When asked what feelings he experienced after the first results were announced, Bogdan replied, “Both euphoria and fatigue. And fear. I just worked with three previous presidents, I know what it is.”

That night, after his rival Petro Poroshenko admitted defeat, US President Donald Trump called Zelensky, Bogdan recalled. He claims that he does not know what the conversation was.

“In this country it is always better to say that it is not known what the telephone conversations with Trump were about,” joked the former director of the OPU.

In the second round of the presidential election on April 21, 2019, Zelensky scored 73.22% of voters.
