Russia is a member of the OPCW, so Berlin will not transfer evidence about Navalny to it separately.
The results of Alexei Navalny’s samples were transferred to experts at the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, a representative of the German Defense Ministry said on Wednesday, September 9, writes TASS.
“The results of the samples were transferred to the organization. Russia is a member of this organization,” he said.
In this sense, Berlin does not see the conditions under which the German side must deliver to Russia the evidence of its findings in the Navalny case, said the representative of the German cabinet of ministers Martin Fitz.
“We remain in our position and ask the Russian side to provide information,” Fitz said.
Earlier, the OPCW said that it stands ready to assist any country in the Navalny poisoning situation.
Let us remind you that the German government announced that Navalny was poisoned by Novichok. Tests in a German laboratory revealed traces of “a Novichok group chemical nerve agent.”
