On the border between Ukraine and Belarus, a family from Belarus appealed to Ukraine’s border guards for protection. As their relatives have pointed out, they are under pressure from the forces of order in Belarus.

This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

A Belarusian family, a man and a woman along with children, asked for help while passing the border control at the Ukrainian checkpoint in the Chernihiv region.

“According to the man, for some time they felt pressure from the Belarusian security forces. However, they decided to leave the country, as a far-fetched criminal case related to bribery was recently brought against him,” border guards said.

The citizens of Belarus were granted entry into Ukraine and sent their protection appeal to the division of the migration service.

Border guards noted that 15 citizens of Belarus have recently requested protection at the border with Ukraine.

Let us remind you that Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that Ukraine is ready to provide assistance to the citizens of Belarus who are under pressure in their country.

RBC-Ukraine also wrote that almost all members of the Presidium of the Coordination Council were detained in Belarus, today Maxim Znak was detained.
