We do not intend to amend the Law of Ukraine “On Education” in the interest of other countries. This was announced by Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba during his visit to Bucharest.

When the Law” On Education “was passed, the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe made several comments to it. Ukraine amended this law and applied the recommendations of the Venice Commission. We do not plan to further change this law to meet the requirements of certain countries, “said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

However, Kuleba noted that Ukraine is willing to implement the law in such a way as to protect both its own interests and those of other countries, in particular Romania.

“I want to emphasize once again that for me the Romanian minority in Ukraine is our property. And therefore we will work so that the Romanians in Ukraine remain Romanians, but at the same time they are Ukrainians, they integrate into our society,” Kuleba added. .

Earlier, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba assured that the Law “On Education” will not be modified at the request of the Hungarian partners.
