President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the relevant departments to change the format of medical reform until next month.
He said this during a visit to the Zhytomyr region at a briefing, the press service reports.
“The Ministry of Health has been tasked with showing the format of continuing the medical reform, changing the medical reform by the end of September. We have already trapped many medical institutions that were almost closed. We open them, begin to complete their construction and technically equip them. We, like these wolves with baskets, catch eggs, we don’t know where the TB dispensary is closed, where the psychiatric hospital is. Therefore, we are tracking them. We have stopped the closure of medical facilities. Something that the Ministry of Health did not see. Everything will be analyzed, “he said.
According to him, the positive aspects of the existing medical reform can be seen immediately and can be left behind, but the negative aspects, which are not immediately noticed, must be bottomed out and removed.
The president also noted that the head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov, had already been notified of the need to do everything necessary to open, repair and equip hospitals.
We will recall, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, proposed to create in the country a program for organ transplantation within two years.
As reported by “Strana”, Health Minister Maxim Stepanov demands the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU) to speed up the process of signing contracts with medical institutions, which must be funded. According to him, 332 medical institutions in the country were on the verge of existence.
