In Crimea, a unit of Russian pipeline troops below the Belogorsk reservoir blocked the Biyuk-Karasu river with an earthen dam, resulting in a pond. The Russian military began pumping water to Simferopol.
It is reported by “Crimea.Realii”.
At the workplace, the military reportedly set up a tent city and attracted bomb-equipped teams. The water is pumped into the installed pipes.
It is noted that previously, the water from the Belogorsk reservoir through Biyuk-Karasu provided water supplies to Feodosia and Sudak, as well as such large objects as the Tavrida art forum and the Belogorsk mega-greenhouse. Now all the resources of the Belogorsk and Taigan reservoirs are destined to provide water to Simferopol.
We will recall, on September 7, in Russian-occupied Crimea, the super-tough third stage of water supply restrictions began due to drought and sinking reservoirs.
Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group, Leonid Kravchuk, suggested the resumption of water supply to Crimea.
