Businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, known as “Putin’s chef”, transferred one million rubles (about 370 thousand hryvnias) to the Berlin clinic “Charite” for the treatment of Alexei Navalny.
This was announced on the VKontakte social network by the company Concord Management and Consulting, whose director is Prigozhin.
At the end of August, the businessman bought the debt of the Moscow Schoolboy company, the debt of Navalny, the opposition Love Sobol and the Anti-Corruption Foundation. The debt is almost 88 million rubles. At the same time, Prigozhin said he was willing to pay for the blogger’s treatment.
On September 6, the Concord company received 107,000 rubles from the representatives of Navalny and Prigozhin was going to transfer this money to the account of a Berlin clinic to treat the opponent.
And the next day, the company reported a new tranche from Prigozhin to the account of “Charite” in the amount of one million.
“Let them treat him so that he is absolutely healthy, the more he owes me money,” Prigozhin said, commenting on the transfer of a rather large amount.
As “Strana” wrote, on September 7, Navalny came out of an artificial coma.
