The Servant of the People faction said that most parliamentarians have questions about the work of the ministries of the economic and financial bloc. At the same time, the resignation issue is unlikely to be resolved in the coming days.

The Ministry of Economy has questions regarding the lack of a strategy to support the agricultural industry and the understanding of the state’s economic development in the near future. In addition, the people’s deputies are unhappy with the lack of communication with the Minister of Economy, Igor Petrashko.
“He has two specialized committees: economic development and agrarian policy. There was no normal communication with the two committees. There is a strategic decision that this ministry should be divided into the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. Consequently, these will be two positions, “said the deputy. head of the faction Evgenia Kravchuk.
As for the Ministry of Finance, the faction is very unhappy with the situation with the Customs Service.
“The latest customs appointments are concerning. The concern is not only that we do not see tangible progress in customs reform. But we also do not see the elimination of corruption schemes that we inherited from the previous government. On the contrary, the people who worked with these schemes “, – explained the head of the financial committee of the Rada Daniil Getmantsev.
Furthermore, the finance committee is unhappy with the pace of preparation of some documents by the Ministry of Finance and the insufficient financing of medical expenses. Furthermore, the fate of Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko will largely depend on the budget process and the quality of the country’s main financial document, which will reach the Rada on September 15. However, the faction considers it risky to start the budget process with one minister and end with another.
Remember, before the head of the faction David Arahamia allowed the possible resignation of the ministers of Economy and Energy.
It was also reported that Sierva del Pueblo does not exclude the resignation of the Minister of Economy due to the situation of the tobacco market.
