Zelensky has set himself the task of making Kharkiv a “Ukrainian Silicon Valley”

The entire region should become the capital of the defense, mechanical engineering and IT industries, the president said.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy decided to make Kharkiv “Ukrainian Silicon Valley”. He wrote about this on Telegram on Sunday, September 6.

“Kharkiv is often called the scientific and student capital. Our task is to make the region also the capital of the defense, mechanical engineering and IT industries, a kind of Ukrainian Silicon Valley,” Zelensky said.

As a reminder, earlier in Ukraine a web portal for IT specialists from Belarus was launched. Professionals wishing to move to Ukraine due to events in Belarus will be able to find all the necessary information in a special resource of the Ministry of Digital Science.
