University of Minsk students support anti-government protests

Police released 25 of the 34 students detained on September 5 for participating in unauthorized protests in Minsk. This was announced on Saturday, September 5, by the official representative of the police headquarters of the Belarusian capital, Natalya Ganusevich, reports Izvestia.
According to her, the rest were sent to places of detention pending trial. “These people are already being recruited to participate in unauthorized events,” Nanusevich explained.
As reported, a new protest action was held in Minsk on Saturday 5 September in support of the students of the Minsk University of Linguistics, who were arrested on 4 September.
It should also be remembered that journalists arrested during their work in the protests in Minsk were accused of participating in an unauthorized demonstration and placed under administrative responsibility in the form of fines.
