Separatists call engineering constructions “illegal” in the Shumy settlement area.
The head of the self-proclaimed “DPR” Denis Pushilin ordered to attack the positions of the Ukrainian army in the area of the village of Shumy, Donetsk region. This was reported by the separatist media on Saturday, September 5.

“We do not need human victims. We do not need a break in the ceasefire. We only want to comply with the agreements reached,” concluded Pushilin and asked the OSCE observers to monitor this operation at the appointed time.
We will recall that last week Pushilin threatened to give an order to destroy the positions of the military if the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not provide an act on the removal of the structures erected on the contact line before September 3.
The day before, the JFO headquarters accused the separatists of violating the ceasefire in Donbass. According to the Ukrainian army, the enemy is mining territories near settlements and receives military equipment from Russia.
It was also reported that on September 4, separatists once fired at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk region: grenade launchers and small arms were used in the Avdiivka area.
