Mitsubishi was badly deformed and the driver was trapped inside. He died of his injuries. The Nissan driver was taken to the intensive care unit at Mechnikov Hospital in serious condition. The man driving the Hyundai was taken to the city’s No. 6 clinical hospital.
On September 5, the 61-year-old victim died in hospital. She was in the intensive care unit with a diagnosis of multiple trauma, closed head injury, skull base fracture, closed thoracic injury, cardiac contusion, rib fractures, hemothorax. Doctors did their best, but failed to save the man.
