Trump: US has no evidence of Navalny poisoning

President of the United States, Donald Trump

The US leader assured that the White House will carefully study the situation surrounding this incident.

US President Donald Trump said Washington has no evidence of Alexei Navalny poisoning and it is not yet known exactly what happened. This was reported on Friday, September 4 by TASS with reference to a press conference of the American leader in the White House.

“I do not know exactly what happened. We do not have any evidence yet, but I will study it,” said the US head.

Furthermore, he promised to seriously consider the situation with Navalny.

At the same time, the United States does not question Germany’s conclusions about what happened with Navalny, but they did not receive any proof, “Trump concluded.

Recall that Alexei Navalny was hospitalized on August 20 in Omsk from a Tomsk-Moscow plane. Russian doctors suspected he had acute poisoning with an unidentified substance, but later agreed that metabolic disorders could be the cause of the deterioration in health.

Two days later, Navalny was transferred to the Charite clinic in Berlin. He’s in a coma and on a ventilator. German military toxicologists said the Russian opponent had been poisoned with Novichok nerve poison. Russian experts, doctors, and even Novichok’s own creators doubted it. In the Russian Federation, this was called interference in internal affairs.
