The court chose the arrest as a preventive measure of the president of the Kiev bank, Arkad Konstantin Palivoda, for a period of 60 days. This was announced on Friday, September 4, by the Kiev prosecutor’s office.
The suspect was detained in the courtroom. At the same time, the court allowed the release of the banker in case of a bail of 21 million UAH.
Earlier, investigators from the National Police reported the suspected appropriation of UAH 50 million to the chairman of the capitalist bank Arkada, Konstantin Palivoda.
As reported, the National Bank on August 6 classified Arkada Bank as problematic. In this regard, a special control regime was introduced in the bank and a curator was appointed from the NBU.
