The Russian authorities have expanded the list of people against whom sanctions are imposed.
The decree was published on Friday on the official legal information portal of the Russian Federation, writes TASS.
The list of foreign nationals against whom Russia’s economic measures have been introduced includes former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
The list also includes the lead singer of the rock group Okean Elzy, the former leader of the Ukrainian party Golos Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, the head of the Independent Union of Miners of Ukraine Mikhail Volynets, the advisor to the First Deputy Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv and the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Kira Rudik.
Furthermore, businessman Sergei Taruta, the wife of former attorney general Yuri Lutsenko Irina Lutsenko, people’s deputy Rustem Umerov, Sofia Fedina, Akhtem Chiygoz and others were under Russian sanctions.
According to the document, a total of 41 people were included in the list.
