The B-52 Stratofortress strategic bombers in Ukraine were shown 26 years ago
A US military plane entered Ukrainian airspace from Poland and flew 53 km from the Russian-occupied border with Crimea. We are talking about two American Boeing B-52 Stratofortress nuclear bombers, which accompanied the Ukrainian fighters.
Strategic bombers flew over western regions of Ukraine and slightly overflew the Sea of Azov region, reports MilitaryAviationInUa.
It is noted that Boeing B-52 Stratofortress appeared in Ukrainian airspace for the first time in 26 years.

So the last time B-52 Stratofortress bombers were shown in Poltava at a military airfield in September 1994 during the 50th anniversary celebration of Operation Frentik.

The US “bombers” in Ukraine were accompanied by Su-27 jets, which took off from the Ozernoye airfield near Zhitomir and the Odessa School airfield. “Dumskaya” reports on this.
The bombers have registration numbers 61-0034 (nicknamed Wise Guy) and 60-0044.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., American planes, returning to the British Air Force Base at Fairford, flew over Kiev.

Some military experts associate the appearance of US military aircraft in Ukraine over the Sea of Azov region with the Kavkaz-2020 military exercises that are being prepared in the Russian Federation, which will begin on September 21. For example, the Russian media claim that American fighter jets practiced launching missile attacks on Russian military installations on the territory of the annexed Ukrainian peninsula and the southern Russian Federation.
It was previously reported that the recent exercises of fighters could have ended in a tragedy on the Kiev-Chop highway with hundreds of victims.
