Kuleba commented on the Navalny poisoning
Kuleba called for the use of an effective mechanism of influence in Russia, including the application of sanctions and a review of the policy on Nord Stream-2.
Action must be taken against Russia in connection with the poisoning of opposition leader Alexei Navalny. This was announced at a briefing on Friday September 4 by Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.
According to him, there is no reason not to trust the German laboratory, which established the Navalny poisoning. And he considers that Russia’s ability for such actions is quite probable.
“There are no limits for them when they need to poison someone … It happens all over the world,” he said.
Kuleba said that this crime should not go unpunished.
“Ukraine starts from the fact that now our partners and all those who oppose the policy of the Russian Federation must use an effective mechanism of influence in this country, including the application of sanctions and a review of the policy on the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline, “he said.
As reported, on September 2, Berlin announced that traces of poison from the Novichok group were found on the body of Alexei Navalny. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said there are no doubts about the test results. She described what happened to Navalny as an attempt to silence him and demanded an explanation from Moscow. In the Russian Federation, this was called interference in internal affairs.
By the way, yesterday voices began to be heard in German politicians for the closure of Nord Stream 2 due to the Navalny poisoning.
