In total, the official employment registry includes 628 thousand foreigners – insurance premium payers. Most of whom are Ukrainian.
According to the agency, there is a growing supply of Polish employers in logistics, food processing, furniture, household appliances and construction.
So far, the flow of Ukrainians to Poland is stable due to more convenient logistics and a relatively stable economic situation in Poland, explained Gremi Personal owner Evgeny Kirichenko.
“We also noticed that this year in August, significantly fewer Ukrainians working in Poland began to temporarily go to Ukraine to prepare children for the new school year,” Kirichenko said.
As previously reported, migrant worker remittances to Ukraine in July decreased by 13.5% compared to the same month in 2019, to $ 922 million, according to the National Bank.
