As a result of the shooting in the city of Ukrainka, Kiev region, several people were injured, police said.
In the city of Ukrainka, Kiev region, a group of people coming from Kiev started a shooting. Law enforcement officers have identified 22 people involved in the incident, regional police said.
Police noted that the newcomers began firing with automatic weapons and local residents responded with hunting fire. In total, about 10 shots were fired, several people were injured.
Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene 20 minutes later, but the shooting participants and cafe staff removed the casings and destroyed the tracks of the incident. The police searched and seized the video from the security cameras.
Police discovered that 15 local residents and seven visitors to the capital, including citizens of the Russian Federation, were involved in the shooting. So far, 10 searches have been made at the addresses of the participants in the incident.
Law enforcement officials have opened production under Part 4 of art. 296, art. 396 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (vandalism with the use of weapons and concealment of a crime).
