Shooting near Kiev: police announced 22 participants

Law enforcement officers have identified 22 participants in the conflict with the shooting in the city of Ukrainka. This was reported by the National Police Department in the Kiev region on Thursday, September 3.

It is indicated that when conducting operational search activities, analyzing videos and witnesses, the police found that 15 local residents and seven visitors from Kiev, including citizens of Russia, were involved in the commission of hooligan actions in one of the cafes.

“Ten searches have already been made at the established homes of the participants in the incident. The wounded, who came to the hospital with injuries, refused to give explanations and cooperate with the investigation. Nothing threatens their lives,” the statement said.

It is also reported that up to 10 shots were fired at the scene of the conflict. The police arrived at the scene in 20 minutes. But the participants of the confrontation and the staff of the cafe did everything possible to conceal this crime.

“They changed the situation, collected the cartridges and destroyed the clues. To get the video from the surveillance cameras, the police made an urgent search and seized the server,” police said.

For this fact, a criminal proceeding was initiated for the acts of committing vandalism with the use of weapons and covering up a crime (part 4 of article 296, article 396 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The issue of announcing suspicions to the organizers and participants of the conflict is being resolved.

We will remember, on the night of September 2, in the city of Ukrainka, two criminal groups were solving the relationship. The conflict escalated into shootings and three people were injured.

Earlier, the media reported that near Kiev, a massive fight ended with shooting. The incident took place in Vishnevoe. After a fight, which involved about 15-20 people, a man received a gunshot wound.
