The head of state said that the situation in the country is influenced by external intervention and foreign management of the protests.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the situation in Belarus is largely influenced by external interference in the country’s internal affairs and the management of protest actions from abroad. BelTA reports on this on Thursday, September 3.

“It comes from Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Ukraine, which worries us the most,” Lukashenka said.

He also referred to the statement of the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergei Lavrov, who the previous day had testified about “extremists” from Ukraine in the protests in Belarus.

“Yesterday they heard the statement of Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, who openly (generally a very restrained person in this regard, cautious) stated what was happening at the border,” Lukashenka said.

He affirmed that the country’s leadership reacts to “any negative gesture towards Belarus.”

According to the head of state, the most important thing for him now is to prevent “some kind of fire” from being lit in Minsk, which would later cover the entire country.

Let us remind you that the day before, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba responded to Lavrov’s statement about “Ukrainian extremists” in Belarus. He called Russia’s attempts to pass off its “green men” as “Ukrainian extremists” as a losing stunt.
