A large-scale forest fire broke out in the Dvurechansky district of the Kharkov region – the fire spread over 80 hectares. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service on Wednesday, September 2.
“On September 2, at 12:55 pm, a message was received to number 101 about a fire in the coniferous forest of the Dvurechansk forestry from the Kupyansk forestry company on the outskirts of the village of Gorobovka. They were sent rescue service units to the scene from the city of Dvuletnaya and the city of Kupyansk. At the time of arrival, it was established that rescuers are burning a coniferous forest in an area of about 80 hectares, “it was reported.
Gusts of wind began to blow the flames from the treetops towards the residential area of Gorobovka, skirting the forest. Another 10 departments of the Kharkov rescue service and other regional divisions in the region were dispatched to the scene.
Now the fire goes out with 13 teams and 80 people. A fire brigade train and five units of forestry equipment also participate.
Let us remind you that a forest was burning near Severodonetsk earlier. 44 firefighters and 10 teams participated in the extinction, the fire spread over 5 hectares.
It was also reported that there was a large-scale fire in the Nikolaev area. The total area of the fire was 23 hectares. Five teams and 20 people participated in the extinction.
