Today Kolos has officially signed a one-year contract with Evgeny Seleznev. The signing of the former Ukraine striker was commented on by Kolos coach Ruslan Kostyshin.
– Seleznyov could have joined his club a year ago, when he trained with Kolos before moving to Karabukspor. What is your physical condition? – a Sport.ua correspondent asked the club’s mentor.

– Seleznev is aiming to become the top scorer of the Ukrainian championship in history. Have you promised him a permanent spot in the starting lineup?
– There were such conversations. I hope he has a strong character and is a man of his word. First of all, I hope so. And how it will be, life will show itself.
– You said Seleznev is a man of his word. Did he promise you something?
– He promised to do a good job. He has a dream: to become the UPL’s top scorer. And I understand that for him this is more than a dream. I think it’s very good that a footballer wants to do this, which means he has character.
– In an interview, Seleznev said that he had promised Igor Tudor not to drink alcohol. Did you have that conversation with him?
– I allow alcohol to drink, no problem. You just need to know when, how and how much. I have no prohibition on alcohol, we are all human. Everything has to have its moment.
– Is Zhenya still boxing? Won’t you mind?
– does nothing (smile). He likes to go to hockey and boxing. They gave him a day off, he went to hockey and I tell him: “You have so many things and you are still playing hockey.” And he responds: “I need to lose weight.” Hope it helps us.
It reminds me of my late friend, Zakarluk. I have something to compare with, they are very similar to him.
– Have you remembered how you played against Seleznev during your playing career?
– We rarely play against each other. And what is he to me, I am not with a simple character either. Now I will appreciate it, but before he could carry it on his lap (smiles).
Seleznev has such a complaining nature. But in testing I invested in all time intervals. He did, though he groaned and muttered. Not everyone will be the same.
– Will Seleznyov now hit all penalties, free kicks, throw-in?
