The protesters are demanding the lifting of restrictions on cultural events during the quarantine.

In Kiev, near the Cabinet of Ministers building yesterday, a protest rally with music and dancing was held against the quarantine restrictions on entertainment. The video of the protest action was posted on the YouTube channel Ukrinform TV.

Several hundred people participated in the action. They demanded that entertainment establishments and catering establishments be able to operate without a time limit.

According to the organizers, such actions will be carried out until a compromise is found between the authorities and representatives of the entertainment industry.

Earlier, on August 28 in Kiev, representatives of the tourism industry demanded that the Cabinet of Ministers lift the ban on foreigners entering Ukraine.

It was also reported that Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal promised companies that in the event of a second wave of coronavirus, a strict quarantine would not be introduced.
