On the first day of the school year, schoolchildren and preschoolers managed to contact a patient with coronavirus.

In one of the schools in the city of Nikolaev, the entire class went into self-isolation on the first day of school due to contact with an infected COVID-19. This was reported on Tuesday, September 1, by the local publication Svidok.info.

“At school number 19, one of the classes went into self-isolation,” the city’s education department said, according to the newspaper.

In addition, on the same day, two groups of kindergartens and their educators isolated themselves. We are talking about preschool institutions No. 71 and No. 95.

We will recall, earlier, Ukraine’s chief sanitary physician, Viktor Lyashko, warned that students will isolate themselves if at least one student is confirmed to have a positive diagnosis of COVID-19.
