The arrests began in the Plaza Independencia area. A group of OMON officers approached the students and offered to peacefully disperse. The students locked themselves in a chain and refused to leave. After that, the security forces began to remove people from the chain and take them away.
“Most of the boys moved to the Moscow State Linguistic University (Minsk State Linguistic University – ed.), But the security forces caught up with them. Near the main entrance of Gorky Park there are two minibuses, to which the detainees are taken away, “says the publication.
Let us remind you that an opposition party will be created in Belarus. Victor Babariko called for the main tasks of the party to carry out the constitutional reform and unite civil initiatives.
The Belarusian opposition was also reported to have made a statement. The opposition views Vlasova’s arrest and the administrative arrests of Presidium members Olga Kovalkova and Sergei Dylevsky as politically motivated pressure.
