Football.ua presents future rival Dynamo in the Champions League standings.
According to the results of the draw for the Champions League third qualifying round, Dynamo beat AZ Alkmaar. We can say that all possible opponents were roughly equal (there were also variants with the Austrian Rapid and the Greek PAOK). Football.ua presents the next rival of the Kievites.
Coach
Arne Slot started his coaching career with the Zwolle youth team in July 2013, but he stayed there for exactly one year and was promoted to assistant coach in the Cambuur senior team. After two and a half years of hard work, Arne Slot became Cambuur’s acting head coach. The Dutchman remained in that position until the end of the season, then returned to the more familiar job of an assistant already in AZ.

By way of comparison, the total value of Dynamo players is € 82.45 million.

Last season, as we’ve already mentioned, AZ took the second line of the classification according to the results of the championship completed prematurely. The Alkmarians had the same number with Ajax, but the difference was worse. At the same time, Arne Slot’s pupils won both head-to-head matches, making it absolutely clear the club’s eagerness to sue the football union for the allocation of seats.
In the Europa League, AZ played in the same group with Manchester United, Partizan and Astana. Arne Slot’s team ended up on the second line of the group, after the British. In 1/16 overall, the Alkmarians lost to LASK with a score of 1: 5.
Matches with Ukrainian teams
AZ managed to cross with five Ukrainian teams in the UEFA Cup / Europa League: Shakhtar, Dnipro, Dynamo, Metalist and Mariupol.
