The culprit for the unconstitutionality of the quarantine introduced by COVID-19 should not be sought. In such conditions, as during the coronavirus pandemic, not a single government had to work.

This was stated by the president of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmitry Razumkov, during the talk show “Freedom of expression”, reports the RBC-Ukraine correspondent.

“In the conditions in which the parliament, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Office of the Presidency worked, nobody has worked before. There is no need to look for the culprits, here it is worth drawing conclusions and not allowing them in the future”, Razumkov said.

As a reminder, the Cabinet of Ministers extended the adaptive quarantine in Ukraine until October 31 and prohibited foreign nationals from entering the country.

In addition, quarantine zones have been updated in Ukraine, 10 cities and 11 districts were included in the “red” zone with the strictest restrictions.

Earlier, Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said that the introduction of full quarantine in Ukraine in the spring helped prevent the first wave of coronavirus in the country and prepare a system to provide medical care to COVID-19 patients.
