There are about 500 cars queuing at the borders between Ukraine and Hungary and between Ukraine and Romania. Traffic jams formed at the “Tisa”, “Luzhniki” and “Dyakovo” checkpoints on Monday, August 31.
The Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Service reported this on its Facebook page.
In particular, 230 cars are expected at the checkpoint on the Ukraine-Hungary border: 110 in Tisza, 120 in Luzhanka.
On the border with Romania, there are 200 cars in the queue for Dyakovo.
At the same time, there are no queues at other sections of the border.
The slow pace is seen to be associated with a detailed verification of documents in relation to quarantine.
We recall, on the night of August 23, queues of cars were also observed on the western border of Ukraine: more than 200 cars were parked on the border with Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.
As RBC-Ukraine wrote, why vehicle queues form on the western border, explained the State Border Service.
