The draw for the third qualifying round of the Champions League will take place on Monday, August 31 in Nyon, Switzerland (the procedure starts at 1:00 p.m.). At this stage, Ukraine’s vice-champion Kiev “Dynamo” enters the fight.
As you know, the classification is carried out “in two ways”: on the one hand, the association champions, who are ranked from 52 to 15 in the UEFA classification, compete, in the second, the vice-champions of associations of the 6 to 15th place.
Traditionally, prior to the draw, teams were divided equally into seeded and non-seeded teams according to the UEFA club rankings. As a reminder, this season all pairs in the third qualifying round are playing in the one-match format with no spectators.

It should be noted that in addition to the Dynamo, other Ukrainians will also perform at this stage. “Ferencvaros” is directed by Sergei Rebrov, Kharatin and Zubkov play under his direction. Khacheridi, Noyok and Milevsky play for Dynamo Brest, while Yaremchuk, Bezus and Plastun play for Ghent.
The third round matches will take place September 15-16. The winners will advance to the Champions League play-off round, the losers to the Europa League play-off round.
