Settlements in 5 regions were included in the “red” zone
Quarantine zones have been updated in Ukraine as of today. The “red” zone with the most severe restrictions includes 10 cities and 11 districts. Most of the country still remains in the green and yellow zones. For a complete list of regions by epidemiological hazard levels, see RBC-Ukraine.

The State Commission for BTE and Emergency Situations reviewed the coronavirus indicators and updated the list of settlements for each of the adaptive quarantine zones. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov, during a briefing.
A critical situation of morbidity is observed in 21 administrative-territorial units in the territory of Ukraine. They will be in the “red zone” for the next two weeks.

“Red zone
The settlements in 5 regions have been classified as the area with the highest incidence rate since August 31:
- Ivano-Frankivsk region (the cities of Ivano-Frankivsk, Kalush, Kolomyya, Gorodenkovsky, Kosovsky, Tysmenytsky districts);
- Ternopil region (Berezhany, Chertkov, Berezhansky district);
- Chernivtsi region (Chernivtsi, Vizhnitsky, Glyboksky, Zastavnovsky, Kitsmansky, Novoselytsky districts);
- Rivne region (Ostrog, Dubno, Kostopolsky, Radivilovsky districts);
- Odessa region (Izmail, Belyaevka).
It is prohibited in the “red” zone work of public transport, educational institutions, including kindergartens and schools. Cafes, restaurants, shopping centers are closing. Additionally, orange, yellow and green zone restrictions apply.
“Orange” zone
The restrictions of this quarantine zone are established for 14 days:
Volyn region (cities of the districts of Lutsk, Volodymyr-Volynsky, Lutsky, Manevichsky);
Zhytomyr Oblast (Districts of Korosten, Zhytomyr, Korosten);
Transcarpathic region (Uzhgorod, Mukachevo, Chop, Vinogradovskiy, Mizhgorskiy, Perechinskiy, Tyachevskiy and Uzhgorodskiy districts);
Ivano-Frankivsk region ;
Kiev region (Berezan and Kiev-Svyatoshinsky district);
Lviv region (Lviv, Morshyn, Sambor, Zhovkovsky, Pustomytovsky and Yavorivsky districts);
Odessa region (Districts of Chernomorsk, Bolgrad, Ovidiopol, Tarutinsky);
Rovenskaya region (Districts of Varash, Goshchansky, Demidovsky, Dubensky, Zarechnensky, Zdolbunovsky, Koretsky, Ostrozhsky and Rivne);
Sumy region (Sumy);
Ternopil region (Ternopil, Buchatsky, Gusyatinsky, Zaleshchitsky, Zbarazhsky, Kozovsky, Lanovetsky, Monastyrysky, Terebovlyansky, Ternopil and Chertkovsky districts);
Kharkov region (Kharkiv and Bohodukhiv District);
Khmelnitsky region (Volochysk District);
Chernivtsi region (Districts of Novodnestrovsk, Hertsaevsky, Kelmenetsky, Putilsky, Sokiryansky, Storozhinetsky and Khotinsky);
Chernihiv region (Bobrovitsky district).
In the “orange” zone prohibitions refers to the operation of accommodation facilities: hostels, camps, etc., with the exception of hotels. Restaurants and entertainment establishments are prohibited at night. Cultural institutions, gyms and fitness centers are closing.
Planned hospitalizations are suspended. The number of participants in public events is limited to no more than 1 person. per 20 square meters, total number of no more than 100 people. The prohibitions of the “yellow” and “green” zones are maintained.
“Yellow” zone
As of 00:00 on August 31, the following entered the “yellow” zone:

Volyn region (the city of Vladimir-Volynsky, Gorokhovsky, Ivanichevsky, Kivertsovsky, Lyubashevsky, Starovyzhevsky, Turisky, Shatsky districts);

Chernihiv region (Districts of Chernigov, Nizhyn, Priluki, Borznyansky, Ichnyansky, Kozeletsky, Krupsky, Kulikovsky, Nezhinsky, Nosovsky and Talalaevsky).
A ban is introduced in the “yellow” zone. to visit the social security institutions where the elderly are. An exception is institutions that provide assistance in crisis situations. Green zone restrictions also apply.
“Green area
The lowest incidence rate remains at Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kirovograd, Lugansk, Nikolaev, Poltava, Kherson Regions.
All settlements on the territory of these 8 regions entered the “green” zone. In addition, this category includes administrative-territorial units that are not listed in the above quarantine zoning list.
It is prohibited in the “green” zone stay in public buildings without a mask or respirator. The number of participants in public events is limited: no more than 1 person. 5 square meters Transport of passengers in public transport: only in the seats. Cinemas can only operate at 50% occupancy.
Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers extended the adaptive quarantine in Ukraine until October 31 and prohibited foreign citizens from entering the country.
The government also tightened the quarantine conditions by banning work in discos, nightclubs, restaurants and cafes after midnight and concerts, regardless of the quarantine zone.
