The Ukrainians were informed in which case the students will be quarantined for two weeks from the beginning of the school year.

The country’s chief sanitary physician, Viktor Lyashko, said this on the air of the ICTV channel, Interfax reports.

Thus, the entire class will be sent to self-isolation with the mandatory passage of a coronavirus test according to its results, if at least one student in the class is diagnosed with a disease.

“A clear recommendation: if at least one student in the class is infected and diagnosed with coronavirus disease, then the entire class will be considered close contacts, and all children in this class will go into self-isolation for 14 days,” he said. .

Recall that the Ministry of Health reported under what conditions Ukrainian schools will start operating from September 1 and in which rooms masks are needed. It is noteworthy that teachers will have to change the masks every three hours, while one a day is enough for children, but they can be removed in class.
