Congressmen “leaked” classified information to journalists
Some members of Congress are trying to create the impression that Russia poses a greater threat to America’s national security than China.
The director of National Intelligence of the United States, John Ratcliffe, believes that the threats from China are much more serious than the Russian ones. According to him, several US congressmen are deliberately misleading voters by giving Americans the false impression that Russia is more dangerous to the United States than China. He said this on the air of Fox News.
Ratcliffe was asked to comment on the interruption of oral intelligence briefings on security for the upcoming US elections in November for the relevant Congressional committees.
Ratcliffe responded that oral intelligence briefings to the relevant congressional committees had been suspended because congressmen were leaking classified information to the press.
“They did it for political purposes,” said the director of National Intelligence of the United States.
He also added that Russia still poses a serious threat to the national security of the United States, “however, the threats from China are much more serious.”
We wrote that US intelligence refused to give reports to congressmen due to “leaks” of classified media information.
We also recall that US intelligence rejected the artificial creation of COVID.
