The transition to full distance learning is only possible at the red danger level, Stepanov noted.

An educational institution decides for itself on the transition to a mixed form of education, when stationary education is combined with distance learning, Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said on Aug. 30.

She recalled that, according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, the school is being stopped and she is switching to distance education exclusively at the “red” danger level.

“This is an issue that is resolved at the school level. But only the transition to distance education, that is, when the learning process in school stops, this is only when there is an epidemiological ‘red’ level of danger in a district or city, “said the minister.
