Trump yelled at his adviser over a missed call from Putin
The incident took place during an official meeting with a British delegation at the White House.
US President Donald Trump yelled at Michael Flynn, the current national security adviser, during a dinner with a British delegation after learning of a missed phone call from Russian President Vladimir Putin, Newsweek reported.
This is what the former head of administration of the then British Prime Minister Theresa May Nick Timothy said.
According to him, in 2017, during an official meeting with the British delegation at the White House, someone mentioned that Putin recently called the American leader, after which Trump began yelling at Flynn.
“He really yelled. It was at a formal dinner with butlers and beautiful dishes, and he was yelling at him across the table,” recalls Timothy.
According to the former official, after that Trump yelled: “If Putin wants to talk, just put him in touch with me.”
Earlier, the US State Department commented on Putin’s statement that the detention of militants of the Russian PMC Wagner in Belarus is an operation of the special services of Ukraine and the United States.
