The popular deputy of the Servant of the People faction, Geo Leros, set fire to the car. The deputy himself wrote about this on Facebook.
Leros has yet to provide details; he only posted a video of rescuers turning off his car.
The video contains profanity.
«Witnesses say the cotton was heard in the apartment on the 14th floor. There is no longer any doubt that it was arson. Whoever did it, I’ll find you, you’ll rejoice early, ”he later wrote.
On March 29, Geo Leros posted a video in which Denis, brother of the head of the President’s Office, Andrei Yermak, discusses the issue of appointment to various government positions.
The recordings also featured former aides to the head of the OPU, who later accused him of corruption and trading charges.
Leros was an independent adviser to President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, but after criticizing the president’s entourage, he was fired.
On the night of May 12, unidentified persons burned the motorcycle of one of the defendants in the case of “Ermak tapes” Dmitry Shtanko and threw a grenade at the car of another defendant Sergei Shumsky.
