SBU counterintelligence quickly discovered hiring a Ukrainian citizen

FSB intelligence officers forced an elderly woman to sign obligations to collect and transfer information about hotel guests, the SBU noted.

Counterintelligence officers from the SBU have documented the fact that FSB representatives recruited the director of a hotel in one of the border villages of the Lugansk region. This was reported by the SBU department in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions on Friday, August 28.

The counterintelligence officers of the special services established that while leaving for the Russian Federation through international control, the woman was detained by the FSB.

“After many hours of psychological pressure, the employees of the enemy special services forced the old woman to sign commitments to collect and transfer information about hotel guests between Ukrainian law enforcement officers, the army, government officials and foreign citizens. The enemy special services representatives insisted that the hotel manager regularly give them the pertinent statements. ” , – says the message.

The SBU pointed out that the woman failed to take any action to the detriment of the security of the state of Ukraine, because shortly after her return, the counterintelligence of the SBU discovered the fact of her recruitment.

It was previously reported that the SBU disclosed the network of FSB agents in the Kherson region. It was run by a former employee of the regional state administration.

It also emerged that the commander of the warship was trying to relay information to Russia. The second-rank captain began to cooperate with the special services of the Russian Federation and received Russian citizenship, the SBU said.
