In the Lugansk region, separatist units fired on United Forces positions near the village of Orekhovo, Popasnyansky district. Two fighters were injured, the OOS headquarters press center reported on Friday, May 15.

It is observed that the enemy opened fire from the automatic easel and the grenade launchers under the barrel and small arms.

Two Ukrainian military received shrapnel wounds. The wounded were immediately transferred to a medical institution and provided medical assistance.

“In response to such insidious and criminal actions, Joint Forces units used standard weapons to suppress enemy fire. Enemy losses are being specified,” headquarters said.

Recall that on the day of May 14, the separatists opened fire 11 times in the positions of the Armed Forces, then the Ukrainian army was not injured.

In the OOS area, two special forces soldiers were also reported to have died: Major Andrei Suprigan and Sergeant Dmitry Kuzmenko.
