All markets open in the city from Saturday

For three days there have been no new cases of COVID-19 in Ternopol, and since Saturday in the city all food and industrial markets will be opened, the city mayor Sergei Nadal said in a video message.
At the same time, all entrepreneurs and market administrations must comply with the anti-epidemic requirements, comply with the recommendations and security measures provided by the relevant government decrees.
Their work will be supervised by inspectors from the State Food and Beverage Service, the national police and the municipal inspection. In case of violations of sanitary requirements, the market may stop.
In total, 96 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Ternopol since the start of the pandemic. 43 city residents recovered.
According to data from the regional laboratory center, as of May 15, a total of 1060 cases of COVID-19 were registered in the Ternopil region, 22 were fatal and 482 people recovered. During the last day, the number of laboratory confirmed coronavirus cases increased by 27.
